Hello, my name is Brenton Mathena. I currently reside and Tattoo in Livonia, Michigan (Metro Detroit). From 2007 - 2011 I attended the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan and in 2011 earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a Major in Digital Art and a Minor in Illustration. From 2011 - 2015 I worked full-time as a Comic Book Artist, Inking and Coloring Comic Books for Publishers Big and Small. In 2015 my life changed when I was offered the opportunity to learn the Medium of Tattooing. Once I decided to start my journey into Tattooing I dove in head first and have never looked back. Now I have been Tattooing for over a decade as a full-time Tattoo Artist. You can find me Tattooing out of Box 5 Tattoo & Fine Art in Livonia, Michigan where I have been since 2019.
